I can’t believe it’s almost Easter! I feel like Christmas was only yesterday and now we’re almost in April! It’s crazy to think how quickly this year is going. We’re away in sunny QLD for Easter this year so I embraced the Easter spirit at home a little earlier than usual. I love any excuse to entertain and Easter is the perfect time to catch up with family and friends over a delicious meal. So with Easter on the horizon, I wanted to share a few little goodies I’ve picked up for our home and some cute little Easter pressie ideas for the kids.
A TOUCH OF EASTER AT HOME
I was keen to add a subtle touch of Easter cheer around the home without going overboard!
I was at Target at the other day and couldn’t say no to this divine cheese board for $20! I love a good cheese platter with an afternoon rose so this will no doubt be put to good use! I found these bunny egg cups which are super cute for $3 and the girls will love using them at dinnertime. Such a cute little Easter pressie and one that will definitely last longer than a few chocolate eggs!
According to my husband we don’t need any more water glasses, but when I stumbled across these pastel grid glasses for $10 (set of 6) I just had to have them! That works our to be $1.66 a glass! Bargain! I’m a huge fan of soft pastel tones and grid patterns so this is a winning combination.
I seem to have an ever expanding vase collection (I’m sure I could open a florist with the number of vases I have!) But I love changing things around at home on a daily basis, so it makes perfect sense to have a variety don’t you think?! When they’re well priced (this pink vase is $15) it makes decorating very affordable. I also picked up another grey vase for $20 so the collection is definitely growing by the day!
I’ve been eyeing off this plant stand and pot combo, although given my track record with keeping indoor plants alive, I wasn’t sure it would be the best decision. So I’ve found another way to use my new pot; to show off my beautiful greenery that I picked up from the market. This appears to be a much better and low maintenance decorating option! They last for weeks and require minimal effort! So if you’re like me and can’t seem to keep any indoor plant alive, then I highly recommend this alternative!

FOR THE KIDS
I’ve always loved the idea of a small non-chocolate Easter gift for the girls and I couldn’t go past these divine little bunny slippers for $10 and party dress for $18. I wish the slippers came in my size! Cleo will love buzzing around the house in her new fluffy slippers!
Of course Easter wouldn’t be complete without a soft little bunny and I was so excited to see Target stocking Jelly Cats! They are the softest toys so I had to pick one up for Olive for $25. They come in a few different colours but I loved the grey.
Last but not least, bunny ears are definitely a winner with the kids. I picked these up for Cleo for $3!
