Let’s be honest, the hallway is one crucial part of a home. As you open the doors, it’s the first thing you see. So rather than leave it looking dull and lifeless, it’s time to inject some love into this very important space.  Creating a ‘wow’ factor hallway can be done with a few small updates. A hall table or a bench can be a great place to start. We all need a spot to leave the keys, a place to store those magazines and books or to show off your pretty vases full of blooms. Artwork, clocks or a mirror can help to inject some personality to the walls, wall hooks can make hanging things that little bit easier and a chair or bench can be the perfect place to sit and tie up the little ones shoes before they race out the front door!

I’ve created 3 different looks to show you just how easy it is to decorate your hallway (and get that ‘wow’ factor) without spending a fortune.

Happy shopping!

I love both Look 2, & 3. I have such a tiny hallway, I think I would have to opt for a plant stand and a print. But first I have to clean the area, which has become more like a storage corner – argh.

I know that feeling! We’ve got so much stuff too and not enough storage for it all! x

  2. I really like Look number 3. My hallway is quite dark, so I’ve been wanting to put up a large mirror and piece of light coloured furniture, but haven’t yet found the particular piece of furniture which I think will work. First world problem 🙂
