I’m so excited to share with you a fabulous new collection from one of my favourite homewares stores, Adairs. I’ve long been a fan of Adairs for their well designed, high quality and affordable homewares. Our home is bursting with Adairs goodies so you can imagine just how excited I was to take a look at the new collection designed by Australian personality and fashion/lifestyle blogger, Rebecca Judd.  Bec definitely knows a thing or two about about style and design (a glimpse inside her beautiful home through Instagram and one look through her amazing renovations through The Style School and you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about) so I knew this range was going to be a winner!

The limited-edition Rebecca Judd Loves Home Republic range includes four fully reversible bed linen designs in a mix of vibrant colours and prints, soft furnishings (heavenly cushions and throws) and an outdoor living range which will have you dreaming of Summer days. Each item in the range is named after a fabulous holiday destination or a tropical cocktail. Rebecca says “I really wanted to create something perfect to style outdoor spaces with, but also pieces that would look just as good indoors”.

The RJL summer bedlinen is defined by softness and easy to live with fabrics, printed on a soft lightweight pure cotton percale, perfect for those summer months (and no doubt will please most husbands being lightweight!). All designs are fully reversible so customers can now achieve two different looks from one quilt cover.

One of my favourites from the range is the Palm Cove quilt cover. One side is colourful, vibrant and fun which screams Summer beach holidays.

The other side is a soft stripe and heavenly shade of pink. It’s the perfect mix leading into Summer and this cover could also work so well in Winter, styled with layers and darker tones. So with two looks for the price of one, you’d be crazy not to snap up one of these divine quilt covers before they walk out the doors!

I was so excited when I got my hands on this divine Zephyr hand knit throw. I’ve had my eye on it for a little while now, (but they sell out in record speed!) so I was over the moon to snap one up this time around. Be quick if you want one (you can buy it here) It’s the perfect layering piece on the bed or draping over the couch.

I’ve styled up a couple of looks at home using the latest RJL collection.

I had a quick chat with Bec talking all things homewares, affordable styling and this fab new range-

Bec I love the new range. Can you tell us the inspiration behind it?

I was definitely channeling Summer vibes. Think vibrant, sunny, happy colours and bold prints in linear styles but also inspired by my new fave material of the moment- terrazzo. I also love abstract art so the reverse of the ‘Rio’ cover pays homage to that.

What would be your favourite piece from the new range and why?

I love the new outdoor pieces and I designed them with my own outdoor area in mind. I feel my audience follow me because they like my personal style so if I design with my own home in mind it translates to them.

Decorating an outdoor space can be overwhelming. What’s your top tip for where to start?
A killer outdoor setting (check out the Adelphi wire range by Adairs- so minimalist and sleek) is a good place to start and then accessorise with striking outdoor cushions. You can’t go wrong with lots of greenery too whether its in concrete or colourful pots or hanging planters.

Adairs definitely ticks the box when it comes to high quality, affordable on trend homewares. What’s your number one styling tip for decorating on a budget? Adairs has amazing sales so keep an eye out for those. Also, try and buy pieces which offer more than one design in the one item. For example, my Cancun outdoor cushions offer 2 distinct designs, one on the front, one on the back. It means you’re almost getting two cushions for the price of one. Likewise, my quilt covers also offer a front design and a reverse one meaning you can flip it over when you get bored instead of having to buy a complete new bed cover.

Thank you so much Bec. The new range is divine x
