It appears I could open a florist with the number of vases I have in storage! Some people collect shoes, I seem to collect vases and cushions! But my love for a house full of blooms isn’t going anywhere soon, so they’re definitely being put to good use (the cost per use ratio is definitely look good here!). A beautiful vase full of fresh flowers can instantly add some colour to a space and help to add some personality without spending a fortune. I’m also one to think outside the box when it comes to displaying flowers; pots are no longer just for plants, canisters are more than cookie jars hidden in the pantry and options stretch well beyond the standard glass vase. Textures (think ceramic, terracotta, timber) and soft muted tones (I’m loving black, charcoal, blush pink and grey), play a big role in showing off your blooms.
